SCREENING OF POST-UTME CANDIDATES FOR ADMISSION UNTO THE UNIVERSITY OF CALABAR FOR THE 2014/2015 SESSION
The post-utme screening exercise for the first choice candidates into the University of Calabar has been scheduled to take place on Friday 25th and Saturday, 26th July 2014 respectively.

ELIGIBILITY Candidates who scored 180 and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are eligible to apply.

The timetable is as follows: DAY 1: FRIDAY 25TH JULY, 2014 TIME: 8AM - 12 NOON FACULTIES: AGRICULTURE, ALLIED & MEDICAL SCIENCE,BASIC MEDICAL SCIENCES,CLINICAL SCIENCE, SCIENCE AND EDUCATION.

DAY 2: SATURDAY 26TH JULY, 2014 TIME: 8AM - 12 NOON FACULTIES: ARTS, LAW, MANAGEMENT SCIENCE, SOCIAL SCIENCES AND EDUCATION. PAYMENT

PROCEDURE: Walk into any of the participating banks and request to make payment for UNICAL post-UTME e-scratch card based on the options below. You will be required to pay N5,550.00 which will cover the screening fee, practice questions papers and portal/bank charges. Process flow of e-scratch card for UNICAL post UTME:
1. Walk into any branch of Enterprise bank nationwide and pay for UNICAL UTME pin and the bank will post the payment to activate your pin.
2. Log in with the generated pin for the post UTME.

The paper scratch card option: 1. First choice post UTME scratch cards are available for those who reside in Calabar or have difficulties in obtaining the e-scrach receipt. These cards can be obtained from:
i. UNICAL Microfinance bank
ii. WEMA bank plc
iii. Enterprise bank ltd
iv. First City Monument Bank plc
On obtaining the scratch card, proceed to any internet facility, log on to http://www.unical.postutme.org. On the home page you will be required to enter your JAMB registration number in the box provided and scratch card pin to enable you gain access. Upload your passport and signature, click on: "submit" and follow the online instructions.

FINAL STEP:
1. Confirm your entries before clicking on submit. After clicking on submit, print the form as evidence of your registration and bring it along to the screening venue.
2. Download the version of practice questions related to your programme of study after filling the online application form.

DEADLINE: REGISTRATION WILL SHUT DOWN AT 12 MIDNIGHT ON WEDNESDAY, 23RD JULY 2014

Candidates are required to come with the following items for the screening exercise:
1. 2014/2015 original examination UTME result slip showing candidates photograph.
2. HB pencil, eraser, and a ball-point pen.
